Ahead of today's sole practice session the air temperature is 19 degrees C, while the track temperature is 33 degrees. It is cooler than yesterday, with more cloud, so, this being Spa, we could see rain today.
Antonelli was quickest when it mattered yesterday, edging out Norris, who faces a ten-place grid drop anyway.
Verstappen was third quickest, 0.47s off the pace, ahead of Hamilton and Hadjar, who were both over 0.7s off.
However, one of the most notable aspects of the session was the disparity between teammates, especially at Mercedes and Ferrari.
While Russell looked to be holding back in FP1, it was clear in the second session that he wasn't.
Colapinto was seventh quickest while both RBs were in the top ten, though only Lindblad has the upgrade package.
Green light, but it is a couple of minutes before a car heads out, the car in question being the Alpine of Colapinto. He is followed by Bottas and Perez. The Alpine is fitted with mediums while the Cadillac pair are on softs.
Next out is Hadjar, followed by the Haas pair.
"There was some hesitation from the engine," reports Perez. "It feels weird."
Bottas posts a benchmark 52.228, only for his teammate to respond with a 51.969, Colapinto a 49.802 and Hadjar a 48.231.
Bearman goes second on the softs as the McLaren pair head out.
Lindblad goes top with a 48.210 on the softs, but his teammate responds with a 47.786.
Piastri (softs) splits the RBs with a 48.099, while his teammate, on mediums, goes quicker with a 47.796.
A 47.436 sees Hamilton (softs) go top as Hadjar improves to second with a 47.507, just 0.071s behind, on mediums.
15 minutes in and neither Mercedes, Leclerc nor Verstappen have made an appearance.
Piastri goes second, 0.025s off the pace, 0.025s off the pace.
"Definitely a wind change because Turn 1 is so open," reports Hadjar.
A 47.342 sees Lindblad go top, however, moments later, Hamilton crosses the line at 46.789.
Leclerc's first flying lap is only good enough for seventh, 1.11s off the pace.
Verstappen heads out leaving the Mercedes pair as the only no shows.
Albon goes ninth with a 48.170 on the softs.
As Verstappen goes second with a 47.167, 0.378s off the pace, Russell heads out, leaving Antonelli as the only no show.
Leclerc improves to fifth but remains 0.68s off the pace.
Hadjar has stopped at the end of the pitlane. "No power," he declares. "Oh my God, I stalled, I stalled."
As Russell goes third, 0.497s off the pace, his teammate finally heads down the pitlane.
Like yesterday we are seeing disparity between teammates.
Hadjar has been pushed back up the pitlane by the marshals.
On his first flyer, straight out of the box, Antonelli goes purple in the first two sectors. He crosses the line at 45.990, 0.799s up on Hamilton and 1.296s up on his Mercedes teammate.
Both Aston Martins remain over 5s off the pace.
Attention turns to longer runs on high fuel, before the qualifying sims in the final 15 minutes.
Hadjar almost trips up over a slow Stroll on the racing line.
Russell improves to fourth but remains 1.051s off his teammate's pace.
With 19 minutes remaining, Antonelli heads out again, on used softs. He is followed by Hadjar and Verstappen.
"What happened to the front," asks Hadjar, having abandoned his first flyer. "Zero front. Nothing is ready, everything is too cold."
Antonelli pits as Russell heads out on fresh rubber.
Despite a tow from Leclerc up the hill, Verstappen can only manage a PB in S1. Russell and Piastri also post PBs in the opening sector.
Verstappen improves to second, 0.148s off the pace, despite a poor S2.
Russell goes third but remains 0.367s off his teammate's pace. Piastri goes fourth, but is 0.795s off the pace.
A 46.129 puts Norris second, 0.139s off the pace... but facing that grid penalty.
"I had to abort, I didn't get the gear in," reports Antonelli.
Lindblad has run wide at Turn 11 and dragged gravel on to the track.
Lindblad remains tenth and his teammate eleventh, just ahead of Albon.
Lawson has his time deleted but remains eleventh.
Antonelli's second flyer of the session doesn't see any improvements, indeed, he's down in all three sectors. Replay shows the Mercedes driver having a mighty wobble as he exited Les Combes, as a result his time was deleted.
Hamilton improves to fifth (46.382), having lost a lot of time in S3.
Bortoleto improves to eighth with a 47.049.
"I need some slipstream," urges Leclerc as he subsequently backs off.
Colapinto goes thirteenth and Bottas seventeenth.
Caught behind Sainz and Leclerc, who appear to think it's Sunday, Leclerc aborts again. Consequently he remains tenth.
A traffic-free lap finally sees Leclerc, albeit to sixth, 0.3s off his teammate's pace.
Speaking of Hamilton, the seven-time world champion repeats Gasly's mistake from yesterday, running slightly wide at Turn 13 and hitting the wall with his right-rear.
"I've destroyed the car mate, sorry," he says as the session ends.
Elsewhere...
"The car in front brake quite sudden," says Sainz. "What the ****? My God, it's like double yellows and this car almost crashes in the back of me. Unbelievable!" responds Verstappen.
Antonelli is quickest, ahead of Norris, Verstappen, Russell, Hamilton, Leclerc, Piastri, Hulkenberg, Bortoleto and Hadjar.
Lindblad is eleventh, ahead of Lawson, Colapinto, Bearman, Gasly, Albon, Bottas, Sainz, Ocon, Perez, Alonso and Stroll.
Again there is a certain amount of disparity between teammates, and while Ferrari faces a mammoth task over the break, the fact is that Antonelli is looking very, very good.
